Bovino

Bovino is a town with 3530 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Italian province of Foggia, in the Apulia region.

The nearby towns are Accadia, Castelluccio dei Sauri, Deliceto, Orsara di Puglia and Panni.

Bovino was since the 10th century seat of a bishopric, whose cathedral was the church of Santa Maria Assunta.
