Box truck

A box body is a vehicle body with a solid wall in the form of a closed box. The construction here is normally connected firmly to the chassis. There are also removable truck bodies, but this one speaks then of a swap body or container.

A box body, a lead frame is usually made from steel, and solid side walls made ​​of wood or aluminum, in some cases made ​​of plastic. Depending on use, there are different types of truck bodies, from simple plywood suitcase over its aluminum or sandwich lightweight construction up to insulated thermocouple suitcases. For trucks, the structure of the cab is separated. For smaller vans with box but there are also variants with access to the cab, such as delivery vehicles of the parcel service.

Special shapes

The advantages of a suitcase expansion include:
