Boyz II Men

Boyz II Men is an American R & B singing group consisting of Nathan Morris ( born June 18, 1971), Wanya Morris ( * July 29, 1973 ) and Shawn Stockman ( born September 26, 1973). The group was founded in 1988 in Philadelphia as a quintet under the name Unique attractio, but in 1989 the group was renamed a quartet and Boyz II Men. By 2003, belonged to the group additionally Michael McCary ( born December 16, 1972).

Achievements

Boyz II Men are the most successful R & B groups with a total of over 60 million records sold. Three of their singles were record holder for the longest time so far as the leader of The Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for the United States Billboard Magazine.

End of the Road in 1992 was 13 weeks at No. 1, surpassing the former record holder Do not Be Cruel / Hound Dog by Elvis Presley by two weeks. I'll Make Love to You 1994 for 14 weeks resulted in the charts and overtook the interim record of I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston one. One Sweet Day, a duet with Mariah Carey, 1995, for 16 weeks, the number 1; this record still holds true today. With over 60 million records sold, they are next to the Backstreet Boys, the New Kids on the Block and the Jackson 5 one of the most successful boy bands.
