Boz Boorer

Boz Boorer (actually Martin James Boorer, born May 19, 1962 in Edgware, Middlesex ) is an English musician ( instruments: guitar, saxophone, banjo, clarinet ). In his youth he played in several rockabilly bands, including today in The Polecats. In 1991, he replaced Mark Nevin as the guitarist of the singer Morrissey. Since then, he is a fixed part of the band and writes along with Alain Whyte the music for Morrissey's lyrics. Besides producing Boorer in his studio in Portugal and working with long- time companions like Edwyn Collins and Adam Ant 2012, he released his new solo album Some Of The Parts to the Viennese label Fabrique Records.

Morrissey calls Boorer and "Machine Gun".
