Brad Downey

Brad Downey ( born 1980 in Louisville, Kentucky) is an American street art and action artist. He lives in Berlin.

Life

Downey made ​​at the Slade School of Art in London with Bruce Mclean a master's degree in painting and sculpture. His documentary Public Discourse about street art has been exhibited worldwide, including at London's Institute of Contemporary Arts and the Copenhagen Documentary Film Festival.

Downey gained notoriety through his work with the graffiti artist Darius Jones AKA Verb, which was also the subject of a novel. 2008 Downey sprayed green paint on the window of the KaDeWe - on behalf of Lacoste.

His works are represented, among others, in the Reinking Collection.
