Brad Leeb

Bradley Leeb ( born August 27, 1979 in Red Deer, Alberta ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who plays for the Coventry Blaze in the Elite Ice Hockey League since 2012.

Career

Brad Leeb began his career with the Red Deer Midget Chiefs in the Alberta Midget Hockey League. He then completed five seasons in the Canadian Junior Football League WHL, where he also went onto the ice with a team from his hometown, the Red Deer Rebels. In the summer of 1999, the winger signed as a free agent contract with the Vancouver Canucks, where he remained for three seasons. However Leeb graduated only three NHL games for the franchise from British Columbia and the rest of the time was used in the farm teams Syracuse Crunch, Kansas City Blades and Manitoba Moose in the Minor Leagues AHL and IHL.

In the season 2002/ 03, the attacker was transferred in exchange for Tomáš Mojžíš to the Toronto Maple Leafs, for which he, however, also only completed an NHL game. For the 2007/08 season Leeb moved to Germany for ERC Ingolstadt. From 2008, the Canadians played along with his brother Greg Leeb at the Nuremberg Ice Tigers.

Internationally

Leeb represented his country at the U20 World Youth Championship in 1999. During the tournament he scored three goals and five assists. In the final match he defeated with Canada against Russia and won the silver medal.
