Brad Little (politician)

Brad Little ( * February 15, 1954 in Emmett, Idaho ) is an American politician. Since 2009 he has been Vice- Governor of the State of Idaho.

Career

Brad Little graduated from the University of Idaho. Then he worked on the ranch of his parents. Later he went into other business areas. He managed the company Little Enterprises, which operates in the field of agriculture and livestock. He was also chairman of the Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry as well as several other associations and organizations of his home. Today, he is a board member of the Home Federal Bank and a craftsman's business in Boise.

Politically, Little became a member of the Republican Party. Between 2001 and 2009 he sat in the Senate from Idaho. Following the resignation of Lieutenant Governor Jim Risch, who moved to the U.S. Senate, he was appointed by Governor Butch Otter to the new Lieutenant Governor of Idaho. He held this position since 6 January 2009. He is Deputy Governor and Chairman of the State Senate. He is also responsible for the economic development of the State of Idaho.
