Brad Meltzer

Brad Meltzer (born 1970 ) is an American author and comic book writer.

Life and work

Meltzer initially grew up in Brooklyn, New York and later in South Florida, where in 1988 he received his high school diploma at North Miami Beach Senior High School. After graduating from the University of Michigan Meltzer first lived in Beacon Hill, Boston - where he wrote his first novel - before he successfully graduated as a second study, a study of Jurisprudence at Columbia Law School.

Published in 1998, Meltzer his first novel, " The Tenth Justice", the current seven more followed that were commercially partly so successful that they were on the bestseller list of the New York Times.

As a comic book writer Meltzer wrote sixteen editions of the adventure series Green Arrow, the miniseries Identity Crisis (2004 ) and a year of the superhero series Justice League of America (2007).

In addition, Meltzer was a co-creator of the television series Jack & Bobby, which was however discontinued after only one season (2004-2005).

Currently Meltzer, who is married to his childhood sweetheart Cori Flam and has two children living, again in South Florida. He is working on his seventh novel and written a number of issues for the published by Dark Horse comic adaptation of the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

In September 2006, Meltzer was with representatives of the CIA, FBI, psychologists from different disciplines as well as employees of the Ministry of Internal Security member of a working group that dealt with new methods that terrorists could use in attacks on the United States.
