Bradford-on -Avon is a town in north-west Wiltshire in England and has a population of about 10,000 inhabitants.

Geography

The city is located partly in the Vale of Pewsey, partly on the hill that marks the western end of the valley. Bradford is located a few kilometers south- east of Bath, in the hilly countryside between Mendip Hills, Salisbury Plain and the Cotswolds. Flowing through the city of Avon.

The town lies on the railway line Bath - Weymouth, which was opened in the mid-19th century. The station was completed some years before. The line was subsequently applied by First Great Western Link. North to get past Avoncliff and Freshford and passes on the route Great Western Main Line. The trains usually go to Bristol Temple Meads and often even to Cardiff. South via Trowbridge you cross at Westbury / Wiltshire the mainline Plymouth - London and continue towards Southampton.
