Bradley Beal

Bradley Emmanuel Beal ( born June 28, 1993 St. Louis, Missouri, United States) is an American professional NBA basketball player. He plays the position of shooting guards.

High School and College

Beal attended Chaminade College Preparatory School in St. Louis. In his senior season he scored per game there a points average of 32.5. In 2010, Beal at the U17 World Basketball Championship and won with the USA the title. He was named player of the tournament.

In the 2011/12 season he played for the Florida Gators, the basketball team of the University of Florida. During the season, he scored an average of 14.8 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists ( in an average of 34.2 minutes playing time). Because of his achievements, he was both elected to the first- team of the SEC and the SEC All- Freshman Team. He gave up another college season and signed up for the NBA Draft in 2012.

NBA

Beal was elected at the 2012 NBA Draft in third place of the Washington Wizards. During his first season Beal scored 13.9 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. In December 2012, and in January 2013 he was named Rookie of the Month. After the season, he was appointed to the NBA All- Rookie First Team and finished third in the election for NBA Rookie of Year, which decided Damian Lillard for themselves.
