Bradley Klahn

Bradley Klahn ( born August 20, 1990 in Poway ) is an American tennis player.

Career

Klahn played for the first time at the age of 11 years of tennis. He celebrated his first success at Stanford University, where he won in 2010 for his team's NCAA Singles Championships. His first match on the ATP World Tour, he denied thanks to a wildcard at the U.S. Open in 2010, where he failed in the first round to compatriot Sam Querrey. This year he finished at position 798 of the tennis world rankings. In February 2011, he denied then his second game at this stage and again lost his opening match against Gaël Monfils at the tournament in San Jose. His first success at the highest level it had at the U.S. Open in 2012, where he defeated in a five-set thriller to Austrian Jurgen Melzer 4:6, 6:3, 7:5, 5:7 and 6:4. In the second round he then failed significantly in three sets at the French Richard Gasquet. Since then, Klahn is always to be found on the ATP World Tour, but without any major success. On the ATP Challenger Tour he reached in July 2013 in Winnetka his first final, which he lost to Jack Sock in straight sets. That same month, he was defeated in another final in Binghampton against Alex Kuznetsov in three sets. In August 2013, he finally won his first individual tournament of the Challenger Tour when he won against Daniel Evans in Aptos in three sets.
