Bragança is a port city on the banks of the Rio Caeté in the northeast of the Brazilian state of Pará. Bragança is the administrative seat of the district of the same name ( município ). Among the major towns of the region are Almoço, Caratateua, Nova Mocajuba, Piabas and Tijoca.

History
