Brahim Boulami

Brahim Boulami ( born April 20, 1972 in Safi ) is a Moroccan hurdler.

Brahim Boulami was at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta and Sydney Games in 2000 in each seventh in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. He won at the Goodwill Games in 2001 and at the African Cup of Nations 2002.

On 24 August 2001, he presented at the Memorial Van Damme with a time of 7:55,28 minutes set a world record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase on. Another world record over this distance in 7:53,17 min was the recognition by the World Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF ) fails after Boulami tested positive for erythropoietin ( EPO). He was occupied in 2002 for doping with a two- year suspension.

At the World Championships 2005 he came to fourth place.

At a height of 1.80 m his competition weight is 64 kg. He is the younger brother of the Long Distance Runner Khalid Boulami.
