Brand (magazine)

Fire is the oldest anarchist magazine in Sweden. The magazine was published from 1898 by the Young Socialists, one of the Swedish Social Democratic Party affiliated Socialist Youth Association in Stockholm. Today she describes herself as a "radical cultural magazine " and has its headquarters in Malmö.

Several well-known personalities wrote for fire, including Harry Martinson, Eyvind Johnson, Karin Boye and Nils Ferlin.

Controversies

After fire has published articles in which readers were invited to train with fire bombs and attacking policemen, it announced the Säkerhetspolis the Chancellor of Justice, after which the management of the printing appeared in the fire, was indicted. An employee of the magazine was accused of sedition. The pressure is taken from the syndikalischen union Sveriges Arbetares Central organization ever since.
