Brandan Wright

Brandan Wright ( born October 5, 1987 in Nashville, Tennessee ) is an American professional basketball player who plays in the NBA with the Dallas Mavericks.

Career

After only one year of college, he was selected by the Charlotte Bobcats in 8th position in the 2007 draft and still exchanged during draft night for Jason Richardson and second- round pick Jermareo Davidson to the Golden State Warriors. With them, he completed due to a hip injury just 38 games in his first season. On 14 October 2009 he extended his contract with the Warriors until the end of season 2010 /2011. Due to a shoulder injury due to which he had to undergo an operation, he missed the entire season 2009/2010. The end of February, he was sent with Dan Gadzuric for Troy Murphy and a second-round draft pick to the New Jersey Nets. On 9 December 2011, he finally signed a contract with the Dallas Mavericks.
