Brandon Bochenski

Brandon Bochenski ( born April 4, 1982 in Blaine, Minnesota ) is an American professional ice hockey player who is since 2010 at Barys Astana of the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

The 1.83 m wide winger played after his time at the high school first for the Lincoln Stars of the U.S. Junior League USHL. During his college days he was on the team of the University of North Dakota in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association, a league game in the operation of the NCAA, on the ice. NHL Entry Draft 2001 Bochenski was finally selected as the 223 in the seventh round by the Ottawa Senators.

After completing his studies of the right shooter was the Binghamton Senators, the farm team of the franchise in the American Hockey League used by the Senators due to the lockout in the NHL, first NHL experience garnered the attackers on 5 October 2005. Upon his appointment to the squad of the Ottawa Senators was Bochenski in 20 games in the highest North American professional league on the ice, his first goal he scored while on 15 October against the Boston Bruins. In March 2006, the American was transferred to the Chicago Blackhawks, where he spent the rest of the season. However, it did not make Bochenski, permanently enforce in Chicago. After being used most of the time at the Norfolk Admirals in the AHL, Bochenski was transferred on 7 February 2007 in exchange for Kris Versteeg and a draft pick to the Boston Bruins.

There, the striker signed a one year contract though, but still in the same season he was transferred to the Anaheim Ducks, in turn, only a few weeks later, charges him to the Nashville Predators. From the franchise from Tennessee Bochenski was usually used in Farm Team Norfolk Admirals in the AHL. In 2010 he moved to Barys Astana of the KHL.
