Brandon Sanderson

Brandon Sanderson ( born December 19, 1975 in Lincoln, Nebraska) is an American author of fantasy novels. Sanderson has been nominated twice for the John W. Campbell Best New Writer Award. He became known above all for his Mistborn series ( dt fog Born ). Between 2009 and 2013 he wrote after the death of Robert Jordan's the conclusion of the Wheel of Time cycle. In 2013 he won the Hugo Award for best short novel The Emperor's Soul and a second Hugo Award in the category ' Best Related Work' in the work ' Writing Excuses Season Seven '.

Life

Brandon Sanderson was born on 19 December 1975 in Lincoln, the capital of the U.S. state of Nebraska, and grew up there. In 2005 he completed a degree in Creative Writing at the church's Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah with a Masters.
