Brandur Enni
Brandur Helgason Enni ( born April 15, 1989 in Tvøroyri, Faroe Islands ) is a Faroese pop singer and songwriter.
Biography
Brandur has parents who are interested in the music, so he grew up with the music. At age nine, he already belonged to a band. In 2002, he was 14 years old, appeared with " Waiting in the Moonlight" his first solo album - it was the best-selling album in the Faroe Islands. The debut song of the same name written by Lena Anderssen and Niclas Johannessen.
After Faroe and Iceland tour and television appearances was published in 2003 his second solo album, " Brandur ", it was followed by a tour of Denmark. In a football match in Tórshavn between Faroe Islands and Germany on 11 June 2003 Brandur sang both national anthems, as he was known in Germany.
Then the work of Brandur were accelerated. In 2006 he moved to Sweden so he studied for two years at the Music Academy " Musikmakarna ". Brandur, an accomplished singer and songwriter, has already made an agreement with the music society " Lionheart ", which operates worldwide, and now he is preparing his new music album. He also has a contract with the music company "Air Chrysalis of Scandinavia", so the album is released. Brandur is now one of the most popular young singers of the Faroe Islands, along with Eivør and Teitur. He sings in English and Faroese.
In Sweden Brandur already worked with a number of local artists together, with Lasse Andersson ( he wrote lyrics for Joe Cocker ), with song writers who texteten for Céline Dion and Gavin DeGraw, Westlife (Carl Falk ), as well as with Barak Levi. To his music group also includes three of his fellow students at the Musikmakarna.
At Melodifestivalen 2008, the Swedish Retiring for the Euro Vision Song Contest 2008, Brandur participated entitled " Lullaby" ( lullaby ) by Henrik Winkström (music) and Kristian Lagerstrøm ( text). However, it won Charlotte Perrelli, who had the contest already once, in 1999, won it in 2008 but could not repeat.
Brandur Enni has carried on his album and recording work in 2008 during the summer. So he has his new songs that he has very picky prepared, collected in his new single.
