Branislav Regec

Branislav Regec (born 13 July 1985 in Poprad ) is a Slovak luger.

Branislav Regec is physical education teacher and lives in Poprad. Since 2000 he is a member of the Slovak national team. At the Luge World Cup he takes with his partner Ján Harnis part since the season 2004/ 05 in doubles. After a 31 rank in the debut season of the duo in the following years in the World Cup has continuously improved and placed in the winter of 2006/ 07 as 18th among the top 20 for the first time at this level stabilized Regec and Harnis: To date (as of 2011), they reached both in the overall World Cup as well as the major events in each case results between sites 11 and 17 in February 2010, the double participated in the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver in part, where it finished eleventh out of twenty participants.

Regec also stepped up to the single-seater and was at the 2006 European Championship 31 in Winterberg in the World Cup, he finished second in the season 2005/ 06 the 64th and last place, but also occurred only in a race.
