Branka Musulin

Branka Musulin (* August 6, 1917, according to other sources 1920 in Zagreb, † 1 January 1975 in Schmallenberg ) was a Yugoslav- German pianist and university teacher.

Life

Musulin appeared as a child in public. She studied with Professor Svetislav Stančić in Zagreb. After the concert diploma and high school she went to Paris to study with Alfred Cortot and Yvonne Lefébure. Her studies later went with Max von Pauer in Württemberg and Alfredo Casella in Rome. After 1945 she lived together with the patron Frederick Bienert. With him she had a daughter. The well-known concert pianist taught starting in the year 1958 at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt. Branka Musulin died at the age of 57 in the Sauerland.
