The Brantley County is located in the state of Georgia in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Nahunta.

Geography

The County is located in southeastern Georgia, is located in the southeast about 70 km from the Atlantic Ocean and to the south about 60 km from the northern border of the U.S. state of Florida. History

Brantley County was formed on August 14, 1920 from portions of Charlton County, Pierce County and Wayne County. It was named a distinguished family, which later also of Senator William Goodman Brantley emerged after Benjamin D. Brantley, a member.
