Brasero (heater)

As Brasero (Spanish ) refers to an out of copper, bronze, brass or iron -made basin for holding burning coals.

It was used since ancient times as a portable oven and was therefore provided with a handle and foot; occasionally he was also placed on a tripod.

The vessels were still in the 19th century in Italy and in Spain until the end of the 20th century in use.

Braseros of sheet iron are still in South America, very much in Paraguay, used with charcoal for cooking.
