Brau Holding International GmbH & Co. KGaA is a joint venture of Schörghuber group (50.1%) with the Dutch Heineken NV ( 49.9 %). The holding company was founded in 2002. As an association of regional breweries it is one of the largest brewing groups in Germany. Three brewing groups form the pillars under the umbrella of the holding company: the Paulaner Brewery Group, the Kulmbach Group and the West Group Furstenberg, Hoepfner and Schmucker.
