Bredäng metro station

Bredäng is an aboveground station Stockholm subway. It is located in the homonymous district Bredäng. The station is owned by the Röda linjen the Stockholm subway system operated. It is one of the more moderate frequented stations of the metro network. On a normal working day here rise to 6,000 commuters and around.

The station was taken on May 16, 1965 as the 62nd station Tunnelbana in operation, as the portion of the Röda linjen was inaugurated between Örnsberg and Sätra. The platforms are located above ground in high position. The station is located between the stations Mälarhöjden and Sätra. Stockholm Central Station is about 8.5 km.
