Brendan Benson

Brendan Benson ( born November 14, 1970 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American singer and songwriter. He has released five solo albums and is a member of the band The Raconteurs.

Career

His debut One Mississippi was released in 1996 on Virgin Records. Until successor Lapalco it would take six years. In 2003 he published the Metarie EP with his band, The wellfed Boys. Finally, in 2005 came out his third, The Alternative to Love -titled album. Benson is also a member of the band The Raconteurs, a collaboration with Jack White and Jack Lawrence and Patrick Keeler, two members of the Greenhornes. Besides being a musician, he worked as a producer for The Greenhornes, The Nice Device, The Mood Elevator and The Waxwings.

At the moment, Benson lives in Nashville, Tennessee.
