Brent Krahn

Brent Krahn ( born April 2, 1982 in Winnipeg, Manitoba ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who played until 2011 when the Texas Stars in the American Hockey League.

Career

Brent Krahn began his career as a hockey player in Canadian junior Western Hockey League in which he was active for the Calgary Hitmen and Seattle Thunderbirds 1999-2003. During this period, he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2000 in the first round as a whole ninth player from the Calgary Flames. Then the goalkeeper went through numerous farm teams in the organization of the Calgary Flames. From 2003 to 2005 he played for the Lowell Lock Monsters of the American Hockey League, parallel also for the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL and the San Antonio Rampage of the AHL.
