Brent Sutter

Brent Colin Sutter ( born June 10, 1962 in Viking, Alberta) is a former Canadian ice hockey player. He is currently the coach of the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League and owner of the Red Deer Rebels of the Western Hockey League.

Career

Brent Sutter began his career in 1977 in the second-rate Canadian Junior Football League Alberta Junior Hockey League with the Red Deer Rustlers. At the end of the season 1979/80 he moved to the first-class junior Western Hockey League with the Lethbridge Broncos. In the NHL Entry Draft in 1980, he was selected in the first round at position 17 of the New York Islanders came in the 1980/81 season also equal to three inserts in the National Hockey League in which he scored two goals and two prepared, was then but again sent back to the WHL. Brent Sutter have made it five in the NHL six brothers of those.
