Brent Weeks
Brent Weeks ( born March 7, 1977 in Montana ) is an American author who lives in Oregon. Even at a young age Weeks decided author will want and to write fantastic novels. He attended Hillsdale College and studied English there. For a short time he worked after graduation as a teacher and bartender, but then decided to fulfill her dream of writing.
Weeks first work that shadow trilogy, was published by Orbit Books ( publisher). In the novel it comes to Azoth, an orphan boy who is being trained by Durzo Blint, one of the most talented young blood to an assassin. The book was a great success, for example, stormed the American bestseller lists. Since then it has been in several languages (including German ) translated.
Black Prism, the first book of light trilogy, came out in 2010. The story of Lord prism, which can draw his magic power from the full spectrum of light, was continued in 2012 with the second book and is now planned as a four-part series.
