Brest Arsenal
The naval base Brest (French Base Naval de Brest ) is a naval base of the French Navy in Brest. The called as such since 2000, based in the region Brittany, in the Finistère. It is part of a newly formed 2011 Base de défense Brest- Lorient.
The Brest naval base is home port for the surface units of the French Atlantic Fleet; the establishment was formerly known as Brest Arsenal (Arsenal de Brest ) is known.
