Brett Hauer

Brett Hauer ( born July 11, 1971 in Richfield, Minnesota ) is a retired American professional ice hockey player who was active during his active career, among other things, for the Edmonton Oilers and Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League.

Career

Hauer began his career in 1987 at the Richfield Spartans, a team of Richfield High School in his hometown of Richfield. After spending two years there, he went to the University of Minnesota Duluth and went for their hockey team in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association on the ice.

NHL Entry Draft 1989, he was selected in the fourth round at a total of 71 position of the Vancouver Canucks, but never played for the Canadian franchise.
