Brian Littrell

Brian Thomas Littrell ( born February 20, 1975 in Lexington, Kentucky) is an American singer and member of the boy band Backstreet Boys.

Biography

Brian Thomas Littrell was born on 20 February 1975 as the second son of Jacqueline and Harold Littrell in Lexington / Kentucky. He has a four- year-older brother Harold. The Littrells are devout Baptists. Brian singing since his childhood in the church choir of his Baptist church and in the school choir.

In childhood, was at Littrell a congenital heart defect, a ventricular septal defect, detected. In the spring of 1998 he had to undergo an open heart surgery. Shortly thereafter, he founded the " Healthy Heart Club for Kids", a nonprofit organization that children with heart disease and their families support.

In April 1993, Littrell was on the recommendation of his cousin Kevin Richardson member of the Backstreet Boys. With them he released so far (as of 2013), eight albums and numerous singles.

Since 2000, Littrell is married to Leighanne Reena Wallace. With it, he has a son.

Published in 2006, Littrell his solo album, Welcome Home, which reflects his deep Christian faith musically.

End of 2008, Kawasaki disease was detected and successfully treated in Littrells son Baylee. Gained this message worldwide attention since about the same time John Travolta's son Jett died allegedly as the result of the same disease.
