Brian Lynch (basketball)

Brian Robert Lynch ( born June 12, 1978 in Point Pleasant, New Jersey ) is a retired American professional basketball player. The owner of Italian citizenship was active after completing his studies in his home country as a professional in Europe and played by many, very short-lived engagement in various countries from 2004 in Belgium. In 2007 he married the Belgian tennis player Kim Clijsters and ended after their return to the tennis court in 2009 his own career.

Lynch graduated from Villanova University in Pennsylvania, where he was active for the high school team Wildcats in the NCAA Division I, with whom he played with the later NBA and BBL 's professional John Celestand. After study in late 2000, he began a career as a professional in Europe, where he was initially mostly less than one season active in different countries. In the seasons 2002/ 03 and 2003/ 04 he was in each end of the season for the 46ers actively casting.
