Brian Michael Bendis

Brian Michael Bendis ( born August 18, 1967 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA) is an American comic book writer and artist.

He is one of the most successful writers of mainstream comics of the last seven years. Bendis ' books were consistently placed in the top five of the American bestseller list. In addition, he has received wide recognition and has won numerous awards, including five Eisner Awards.

Life

Brian Michael Bendis began as an author and illustrator of hardboiled detective - series. He is best known superhero books from Marvel Comics, particularly Ultimate Spider -Man.

His first comic was the Jinx series in 1995. For this crime comic Bendis also wrote a movie version.

A further projects of Bendis ( as an author ), along with Michael Avon Oeming (as artist), are Powers, which was nominated for the Harvey, Eisner, and Eagle Award and Fortun and Glory, which, like Powers, the best review ( "A") of Entertainment Weekly, a US-based cultural journal, received.

He is the current author of the comic book series The Avengers. The present superheroes are Spider- Man, Wolverine, Iron Man and Captain America.
