Brian Robbins

Brian Robbins, actually Brian Levine ( born November 22, 1963 in Brooklyn, New York City ) is an American film producer and director.

Life

Robbins began his film career as an actor. One of his first roles he had in the television series Cagney & Lacey. As his acting career he did not promise success, he finished this in 1993. Since then he has worked as a producer and director. He became known among other things dots as a director of films such as Hard Ball or Full. Brian Robbins is a producer various television series, such as Smallville or One Tree Hill, as well as several films. He was nominated for several film awards such as the Emmy Award ( 1995) and won the Directors Guild of America Award (1998). With his feature film Norbit, he was also nominated for the Golden Raspberry 2008. Since published in 1999 film Varsity Blues, he has worked regularly with the cutter Ned Bastille.

Robbins is married and has two children.
