Brian Trenchard-Smith

Brian Trenchard -Smith ( born 1946 in England ) is a British film director, screenwriter and film producer.

Life

Born and raised in England went Trenchard -Smith at the age of 20 years to Australia. Previously, he began studying at the Wellington College, broke from this, however, to devote himself to the film.

In Australia, he began to work for television, where he worked primarily as an editor for news in the early years. In the 1970s, he directed television documentaries. With The Man from Hong Kong ( The Man from Hong Kong) in 1975, he turned his first feature film in which original Bruce Lee should take the lead role. However, this died before the entire film could be completed.

Trenchard -Smith has also worked as producer and screenwriter. He is especially known for the production of TV productions and written many screenplays for his films himself as a director, he directed action and horror films, as well as comedies.
