Brian White (ice hockey)

Brian White ( born February 7, 1976 in Winchester, Massachusetts ) is a retired American professional ice hockey player.

Career

After White was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 1994 in the eleventh round to 268th place out of the Tampa Bay Lightning, he first went to the University of Maine, where he also played for the local hockey team. After four years as a player of the Black Bears, he made another move in professional sports.

After he had already competed in his last year of university play in the International Hockey League for the Long Beach Ice Dogs, he played in the 1998/99 season for the Hershey Bears in the American Hockey League. In addition, he ran twice for the Colorado Avalanche on in the National Hockey League. White played two more years in Hershey before he moved to the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks. Then he went to the Providence Bruins, where he also spent two seasons.

The move to Europe to Iserlohn Roosters was the season 2004 /05 in the DEL. Here, the Stay-at -Home Defender played a good series and then went to Tappara Tampere in the SM- liiga. Even after a year in Finland White went back to another team, this time back to the Long Beach Ice Dogs, which is now played in the ECHL. Because these items are not able to qualify for the play- offs, he went for the AHL playoffs to the Providence Bruins. In the 2007 /08 season the right shooter was able to complete only eleven games, these were two games for the Worcester Sharks of the AHL and nine games for the Kalamazoo Wings of the IHL new.
