Bridget Neval

Bridget Neval (born 13 February 1985) is an Australian / Canadian actress.

Her most famous role is the role of the bad schoolgirl Elizabeth Hawke in the children's film series Total Genial. Also in the series Neighbours, she played the role of Lana Crawford for two years.

Career

Bridget was born in India, lived there only a few months before she moved to Canada. Then she moved at the age of 13 years to Australia. As a result, she had a unique accent, a mix of Australian and Canadian. Her mother is Australian and her father Canadians. She also has a younger sister named Deirdre.

Acting Career

Guinevere Jones

The role in Guinevere Jones was her first actor role. She was one of the main characters and played Reine Davidson, the nemesis of the protagonist Guinevere Jones and her friends. There were two seasons of the series with a total of 26 episodes which were first aired in 2002.

Total Genial

She also played the teenage genius Elizabeth Hawke (main role ) in Total Genial (2003-2005), a series produced in Australia. In the series, Elizabeth Hawke and Toby Johnson are geniuses after a science experiment went wrong. Elizabeth was previously an inconspicuous swot, but used their intelligence to evil purposes, whereby it is the villain of the series. Only a genius Toby may deter them to hurt innocent people. In the second season, however, they join together. The first season of the series won the 2004 AFI Award for Best Children's Television Drama. The first season was produced in the years 2002-2003 and the second in 2004-2005.

Neighbours

Bridget played Lana Crawford in Neighbours (2004-2005). She was the first lesbian character in the series. This felt some viewers as a very shocking because Neighbours was previously considered to the point as a conservative television series. The inclusion of her character in the series produced strong differences of opinion and media coverage.

Damned By Dawn

In September 2006, Bridget filmed the independent horror movie Damned By Dawn (previously known as Eternal Dawn and The Banshee ), produced by The Amazing Krypto Brothers. The film's release is not yet known.

Chasing Pegasus

In September 2006, Bridget Fringe Festival play Chasing Pegasus is also in rehearsal for Melbourne: A Play In Ten Chords present. Director and screenplay are by Sally McLean. Chasing Pegasus is about a night in the lives of 10 members of the Serendipity Book Club. Bridget plays the role of Amelia, a sixteen year old. The play was staged in Melbourne on 3 October 2006.
