Bridgeville is a small American town in Humboldt County in northern California. The village has 25 inhabitants. Bridgeville has a size of about 33 ha, was formerly station for a local coach route and starting point of the Pony Express. Currently, there are eight houses, a working post office and a cafe.

Bridgeville came into the media, as it was to be sold on eBay in 2002. A new offer for sale was sold in 2006 at a price of 1.25 million U.S. dollars on eBay. However, the 25 -year-old event manager and college student Daniel Thomas La Paille committed suicide in November of the same year.

In April 2007, there was again an auction on ebay, the starting price has been set at 1.75 million U.S. dollars, was selling well after 3 months not completed.
