Bridgit Mendler

Bridgit Claire Mendler ( born December 18, 1992 Washington DC) is an American actress and singer, known for her role as Teddy Duncan in the Disney Channel television series Good Luck Charlie.

Life

Mendler was born on December 18, 1992 in Washington, DC born and moved at the age of eight with her younger brother Nick Mendler and her parents Leah and Harry Mendler to San Francisco. How Mendler announced in September 2012, is since 2010 a relationship with Shane Harper.

Career

One of her first roles was Mendler, 2006 in an episode of the soap opera General Hospital. This will be followed in 2008 appearances in the films Alice stands head with Alyson Stoner and the glamor clique - Cinderella's Revenge, the film adaptation of the book series The glamor clique.

In 2009 she had a guest role in the series JONAS, in which she played the girlfriend of Nick Jonas. In the same year she had next to Lindsay Lohan starred in the film (K ) a little bit pregnant. She also played the role of Becca Kingston in Alvin and the Chipmunks 2.

For the first time they became more widely known in 2009 when she played the supporting role of Juliet Van Heusen in the Disney series Wizards of Waverly Place. For this she was at the Young Artist Awards 2012 in the category Best recurring actress in a television series - nominated 17 to 21 years. The big breakthrough in the U.S. came up with their own series called Good Luck Charlie, in which she plays the lead role of Teddy Duncan on the side of Jason Dolley. They took over this role in 2011 for the first time broadcast television movie Good Luck Charlie THE GO - The movie, in which the family celebrates Christmas Duncan.

In 2010 she landed the lead role of Olivia White in the Disney Channel Original Movie Lemonade Mouth - The story of a band, who celebrated in the U.S. premiere of 2011.

Music career

As a singer she noticed for the first time in 2010, when she sang the title song Hang In There Baby to her series Good Luck Charlie. They also took the song When She Loved Me, and How to Believe the movie Tinkerbell 3 - A summer full of adventure. Wrote for the film Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2 and sang the song This Is My Paradise.

For Lemonade Mouth - with her co-stars The story of a band they recorded some songs and published them on the same soundtrack.

In September 2012, Mendlers debut album under the name Hello My Name Is appears The first single from this album, Ready or Not, was published on 3 August 2012. As a second single Hurricane was released.
