Brighton-Marathon

The Brighton Marathon is a marathon, which takes place in Brighton since 2010. It is organized by the Grounded Events Company, which was founded by former top athlete Tim Hutchings and Tom Naylor.

Route

The start is park in Preston. After a lap around this park, it goes beyond the Preston Road and the London Road into the city center, where happens on a loop of the Royal Pavilion and other attractions. After eight miles, turn east on to a turning point route that runs parallel to the coast to Ovingdean. The second half of the course consists of a turning point route that passes on the King's Road and Basin Road South westward along the coast, followed by a loop through Portslade. The goal is on the Madeira Drive near Brighton Pier.
