Brighton Toy and Model Museum

The Brighton Toy and Model Museum is a toy museum in Brighton on England's south coast. The collections are located in four of the early Victorian arches below the station lobby on about 1200 m² of floor space. The museum is run as a Foundation (No. 1.00156 million ) and 2013 has announced a partnership with the Museum Rahmi M. Koç, Istanbul.

The museum was founded in 1991 and displays over 10,000 toys and models, including precious model railway collections, remotely piloted aircraft and a variety of antique toys. One can also see two large and in-service model railroad layouts (lane 0 and 00) as well as rare original pieces of a number of famous producers, including Bing, Georges Carette, Bassett -Lowke, Dinky Toys, Hornby Trains, Marklin, Meccano, Pelham Puppets and Steiff. This includes individually engineered pieces such as the functional steam locomotive in 1:4 scale and the Spitfire fighter aircraft in the entrance hall. More functional models can be found on a walk through the museum.

In the reception area on the first vault is a museum shop and a tourist information center.
