Brigita Bukovec

Brigita Bukovec ( born May 21, 1970 in Ljubljana ) is a Slovenian former track and field athlete and Olympic medal winner.

From 1989 to 1991 Brigita Bukovec won three times in a row, the Yugoslav championship title in the 100 - meter hurdles. In 1992, she was then first Slovenian Champion after independence. 1993 and 1997, she was again national champion.

At the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona Bukovec eliminated in the semifinals.
