Brigitte Grothum
Brigitte Grothum ( born February 26, 1935 in Dessau ) is a German actress, voice actress and director. She is the niece of the German aviation pioneer Hans Grade.
Life
Brigitte Grothum grew up during the war years in Berlin. The high school she graduated from the Ricarda -Huch -Schule in Berlin- Charlottenburg, and then began an acting school Marlise Ludwig and Herma Clement. At first she played mainly theater at various stages in Berlin. Later she returned despite the many engagements in the broadcast and film industry getting back to back stages. So she was seen in 1966 and 1967 at the Salzburg Festival as Hermia in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, directed by Leopold Lindtberg. In 1955 she was in Ripening youth for the first time on camera and already the year after they conquered as Marion in the equestrian drama Nations Cup the audience. The native Dessauerin became known in 1961 mainly through her starring role in the film adaptation of Edgar Wallace The strange countess on the side of Klaus Kinski, with whom she was also friends private time. Another Wallace adaptations followed The Inn on the River Thames and The Curse of the yellow snake.
On television Grothum was seen in over 100 different productions. The longest time TV exposure she experienced as Magda and Marion in a double role in the television series eve Three ladies from the grill, where she appeared alongside Brigitte Mira, Günter Pfitzmann and Harald Juhnke. As a director staged Grothum 1987, the mystery play Everyman by Hugo von Hofmannsthal, listed annually since the fall of the Berlin Wall in the autumn in Berlin Cathedral.

From 21 June to 2 July 2012, she embodied a result of 30 to 36 Gertrud Mahlbeck in the ZDF telenovela ways to happiness - Footprints in the sand and was 69 to 74 again to see of follow-up in this role.
Grothum was married twice and has two children, Deborah and Tobias. First, she closed her marriage to the conductor C. A. Bünte and then with the orthopedist Manfred Weigert. With the latter, she now lives in Berlin- Nikolassee. Her daughter Deborah Weigert is also active as an actress.
