Brilliance BC3

The Brilliance BC3 is a sports coupe of the Chinese automaker Brilliance China Auto, which is, however, so far applied only as a prototype at trade shows and the website of the company. A date for the launch in Europe is not yet known ( as of November 2008).

Details

The body of about 4.50 m long coupe was designed by the Italian designer Pininfarina.

As the only engine developed by a Brilliance 1.8 l four-cylinder turbocharged engine will be used, should the 125 kW ( 170 hp) and 235 Nm of torque and make the nearly 1.5 ton car in 9.7 seconds to 100 km / h accelerated. The top speed is the manufacturer with 210 km / h.

Fuel consumption and CO2 emissions are not yet known. However, the engine should meet the Euro 4 standard.

It can be switched via a manual transmission or an optional automatic either.

Equipment

The car will be offered fully equipped and relatively standard feature, among others, to ABS, climate control, leather seats and steering wheel, power windows and driver and passenger airbags. Optionally, an electric sunroof, side airbags and 18 inch alloy wheels can be purchased in addition to the automatic transmission yet. ESP is not available.

The Kouper in Egypt

In Egypt, the BC3 is already produced under the name Kouper Brilliance of the companies belonging to BMW Bavarian Auto Manufacturing Company. The body dimensions there amounts to 4488 mm in length, 1812 mm in width and 1385 mm in height. As motorization is there a Mitsubishi BL18T with a capacity of about 2 liters. The power which is 125 kW. The model is available both with manual transmission as well as with automatic transmission. The chassis of the vehicle comes from Porsche, so this also assumes warranty on the technical components.
