Brindleyplace

Brindleyplace is a project of urban renewal in Birmingham city center on the site of the old factory and channel systems. It is often mistakenly written Brindley Place, after a street located there, which is also named after the canal engineer James Brindley of the 18th century.

Brindleyplace has shops, bars, restaurants but also to have educational institutions, such as the National Sea Life Centre. It has a branch of the Royal Bank of Scotland, the radio station BRMB and the renowned art gallery Ikon Gallery. History

With the decline of British industry in the 1970s, the factories were closed in the area of ​​today's Brindleyplace. The result was decades of decay. Architecture
