Brisbane is a small city in San Mateo County in the U.S. state of California. It is located in the south of San Francisco and north of San Francisco International Airport at the foot of San Bruno Mountain.

History

As a result of the landing of Spanish missionaries in the Bay of San Francisco, the land was as Rancho Cañada de Guadalupe la y Rodeo Viejo Visitación to Jacob Primer Leese, a dealer from Ohio, passed. Today's Brisbane was first called Visitacion City and was renamed after 1920 by Arthur Annis on its current name. An interim partial demolition of the city for better connectivity San Francisco by the Southern Pacific Railroad was not renewed for years by the uncertainty following the financial crisis in 1907.
