The Britannia Stadium is a football stadium in Stoke -on-Trent, England. It is the home of the football club Stoke City and was opened on 27 August 1997. It replaced the Victoria Ground. The stadium has a capacity of 28,383 spectators, of which 4,996 seats available for away fans available. On January 5, 2002 in the third round of the FA Cup against Everton the attendance record was set at a sold-out stadium.

Under the lawn of the Britannia Stadium rests the ashes of the legendary Sir Stanley Matthews.
