British National League (1996–2005)

The British National League is formed on the one hand in the period 1954 to 1960 from the union of the English National League and the Scottish National League professional league. On the other hand, formed the new BNL virtually a second professional ice hockey league below the Ice Hockey Superleague, or the Elite Ice Hockey League. She was to sort through the English National Hockey League and the Scottish National League. It was disbanded after the 2004/ 05 season.
