British North America Acts

The British North America Acts (French Actes de l' Amérique British North ), in Canada known as Constitution Acts are laws that decided the British Parliament 1867-1982 to regulate the system of government in Canada. They form the most important part of the Canadian Constitution.

The first and most important law is the Constitution Act of 1867, which created the self-governing Dominion of Canada from the various British provinces. With the Statute of Westminster received Canada and the other Dominions 1931 full legislative sovereignty.
