Britz Canal

The Britz connecting channel ( BVK ) is a federal waterway waterways of class IV with limitations in Berlin, legally a part of the Teltow Canal. Until 30 March 1992, he was named Britz branch channel. The waterway is an abbreviation for shipping from the Teltow Canal directly to the Spree- Oder Waterway ( Treptower Spree) and from the ports in the downtown area.
